Roses, Bows and Hearts Oh My!! Valentines Day Tablescape

Valentines Day is just around the corner! A time for romance, chocolates, roses, fancy dinners and dressing up! I don't have dishes that are specifically for Valentines Day. Actually, I looked and looked and I don't even own any red dishes.....at all! So, I improvised.

I decided to use my dishes from last years Mothers Day Tablescape. Straying away from the traditional Red and White I went with Pink, Black & White. This setting certainly has a romantic feel and look to it. The only thing left to do is plan a menu!

Bow Napkin Rings .50 each at Goodwill

LOVE these S&P shakers!! They were $2.00 for the set at Goodwill!

I wrapped some chocolate candy bars with scrapbook paper and trim.

What are you doing for Valentines Day?

  5. I love the pink and black (not a red fan) and I think I may have those same dishes. I may have to "borrow" some ideas from this table. Great GW finds.

  6. VERY nice, Aledia! I don't think heart-shaped plates and such are a must for a romantic Valentine table. It's more of the feeling the table evokes...whether or not it has a romantic feel. This one definitely does. I love the way you wrapped the chocolate bars! Very clever!!!
