Golden Bouquet Flatware

I have been looking for more flatware to accessorize with my tablescapes and to my luck about 3 months ago at a Goodwill I came across this wooden box with a service for 6 and several serving pieces. I just LOVED it as soon as I laid eyes on it. I found out that it is the Golden Bouquet Pattern and it was only $20.00 so, I snatched it right up!

Well, as fate would have it a few weeks ago while doing some more Goodwill shopping (at a completely differant location than the previous store) I came across yet another wooden box with a service for 6 and several serving pieces also in the Golden Bouquet pattern and guess what else???? Yep! $20.00. YAY!!

So now I have a service for 12 and some nice serving pieces as well. They need a good cleaning along with the boxes that they are in but I'm just thrilled with my find!

Thanks for stopping by!

*~St. Patrick's Day Tablescape~*

Happy St. Patrick's Day! I have never celebrated St. Patrick's Day so therefore I really do not have much decor for the occasion. I was however able to put a tablescape together! I only spent $7.50 for this tablescape as most of the items I already had here at home! Thanks so much for stopping by!

I used my gold chargers from Walmart
White dinner plates from a dish set that was purchased at Belk
My (new to me) gold flatware that was an amazing purchase at Goodwill for $20.00! (will be posting about that awesome deal tomorrow so check back! :)
Green stemware is from my wedding!
Coffee/Tea cups that match the dinner plates

$3.50 of my $7.50 for the cost of this tablescape was for a set of 4 Napkins that included 4 Napkin Rings, from the Goodwill!

Centerpiece

The little dessert set (top left) was a Goodwill purchase from last summer and it was $1.99 for the whole set!
Perhaps a wee bit of  green tea with your dinner?
For a favor I purchased Irish Spring bar soap and added some curly ribbon to the top! Purchased both from the Dollar Tree for a total of $4.00.
A green candy/serving dish that I have had for oh.....well lets just say a long time lol.... don't remember where it was purchased at or what the cost was but I'm sure it was a Goodwill find also.

~Rednesday Wednesday~

It's time to go visit Sue at It's a Very Cherry World!  for another Rednesday Wednesday.
Enjoy!!

This is a cute little apron that I picked up at the Flea Market for a whopping .50!

This apron was purchased at the same booth and time as the previous one and yes, it to was only .50!

I LOVE the pocket on this one!!

A single red rose that Darling Dear brought home to me last week.

Ah! UNO I taught my lil man how to play and it's become an every day thing........several times a day to be exact! :) I have to say he is very good and LOVES the game.

Well that's all I have for this week! May your Rednesday Wednesday be Plum Perfect!!

'I'll Always Be Irish'

I just LOVE this clip from Disney's "The Happiest Millionaire"!
This is where John Lawless (Tommy Steel) meets George the alligator
and then tells Mr. Biddle (Fred McMurray) how being an American isn't taking anything away from his
Irish roots.

ENJOY! :)
