Memorial Day Picnic-Scape!

I hope everyone has something nice planned for their Memorial Day Weekend, a time where there will be many Memorial Day parades, services, time spent with loved ones and friends, great sales and picnics!
Today I have put together a Picnic-Scape!! I hope you all enjoy this weekend and please stay safe!

Plates, Cups, Napkins, Silverware and Coasters are all from Dollar Tree.

Tablecover is actually a fleece throw that was purchased at Goodwill for $2.99.

Ice bucket was purchsed at Savers for $2.99.

These are so simple to make! I purchased small terra cotta pots and painted them red with a blue trim, put some florist foam in the bottom and then sprinkled in some metallic shredded filler (Dollare Tree), added some greenery and some blue carnations along with some patriotic picks from Hobby Lobby.

I don't know about you but I'm ready for some grilled burgers, hotdogs and baked beans!!
I am joining Susan at Between Naps On The Front Porch for Tablescape Thuursday.

A Mexicana Tablescape!!

Ok! So, I had these BEAUTIFUL saucers that I wanted to use for a Cinco De Mayo Tablescape! However, outside of the tablecloth well......the beautiful saucers were all I had to work with so needless to say there was no Cinco De Mayo Tablescape.

While out thrifting this weekend I came across some really good deals and after going home and looking at everything again "a lightbulb came on!!" with the items I had purchased, I had the rest of the Cinco De Mayo Tablescape! (just a little too late)

So, I set to work washing all the new items and pulling stuff out of the drawers and cupboards and Wa-Lah! We have a beautiful setting just waiting for some tortillas, rice, salsa and chips!!

Let me know what you think!!

This is a hand painted tablecloth that I purchased in TN last year for $10.00!
I just loved the rich colors and the pattern, this is it's first debut!!

Gold chargers from Walmart

These red metal chargers were one of my finds this weekend. I purchased them from Savers and they were a set of 4 for $4.00. They are from Walmart and were originally $3.97 each! I plan to use them for the 4th of July!

Another find were these pretty Home Trends buttery yellow plates purchased at the Goodwill for $1.00 each!

And now for those beautiful saucers I was telling you about! I found these at Savers several months ago and they were $1.99 each. On the back they say TableTops Gallery, Italiano, Hand Painted. I just love the deep rich colors and had to splurge to buy them! (very well worth it)

I brought out the Golden Bouquet Flatware for this setting.

Stemware was purchased at the Dollar Tree

Napkin Rings are Better Homes and Gardens from Walmart

Well, I think it's time to get those tortillas going!!
Thank You so much for stopping by and I hope your day is Plum Perfect!!

~*Mothers Day Tablescape*~Tablescape Thursday

Mothers Day is upon us and I have been looking high and low for some extra special dishes to make the tablescape magnifico! Well, today! I went to the booth to do some restocking and on my way out the door, from the corner of my eye I spotted this BEAUTIFUL set of dishes. A service for 6 of plates, saucers and teacups. I checked them over real good and after finding no chips or flaws and seeing that the price was $20.00 for the whole set well, I just knew THIS was the set of dishes for the Mothers Day Tablescape. As I'm taking all the pieces to the counter my mind is already going 100 miles a minute you know the whole "what tablecloth will I use" what about the centerpiece, Oh! and we mustn't forget the stemware! Well, on one of the trips from the booth to the counter my eyes spy what? YES!! the stemware! By now I'm as giddy as a school girl lol.... so upon investigating the stemware I see that they are in perfect condition and will match very nicely with the dishes AND they were $8.00 for a set of 6!

So then it was the rush home, get all the dishes washed and start pulling out all the accessories to make the tablescape. Somehow I was able to get it all pulled together, the pictures taken, transferred to the computer and now hopefully I will be able to get the blog post done in time for Tablescape Thursday! :)

Stop by and visit with Susan at Between Naps On The Porch for more great tablescapes!

I laid black lace (purchased at Walmart on the $2.00 table) down first and then added this strip of black and white damask on top down the middle.

Vintage Creamer $1.00 Goodwill

Vintage S&P Shakers

Stemware from the Flea Market. Set of 6 for $8.00!

I am just in love with these new dishes!!

I turned some vintage dessert dishes upside down to add some height to my votive cups!

A vintage butter dish is holding our tea bags! All I did was placed gift tags from the Dollar Tree over the string of the tea bag! How cute is that?

Hot tea/coffee pitcher that I purchased at Savers for $7.99!!

A cute little silver sugar bowl and creamer set that was given to me by my Aunt many years ago, Thanks Aunt Debby! It looks great with the other silver items on the table.

A $2.00 Goodwill find!

The name of the pattern for this set is Midnight Mood, how romantic!!

Napkin rings purchased at Goodwill!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your Mothers Day weekend! Although I won't be able to spend mine with my mom I have to remember that I am a mom to one sweet lil man who I adore!
