"Susie Sells Seashells by the Seashore"....always loved that little tongue twister.
This weeks tablescape is just "Plum Perfect" for Susie!
I printed the shell postcard from The Graphics Fairy. |
I found the dish set at Goodwill in TN, $7.00 for the whole set. |
All of the seashells you see in this post were in a big bag at the Peddlers Mall here in Louisville for $3.00....What a Deal!! |
Shhh.....the tablecloth really isn't a tablecloth at all----it's a shower curtain in disguise!! Another great Goodwill find for $2.00. |
I have used this stemware A LOT lately but they are so pretty and seem to go with so many different settings. |
The shell candle holders were also from the Goodwill and were .50 each. The shell coasters were knew in the package, set of 8 for .99. I think Susie would be pleased :) Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a blessed week! This week I am joining the following blog parties!! Tabletop Tuesday Tablescape Thursday Seasonal Sundays Let's Dish! Your Cozy Home Party |
Very lovely! There are some really great deals on that table:)
ReplyDeleteI use a shower curtain on occasion too, some of them are quite lovely and the price is usually better than an actual tablecloth. lol
What a magnificent set and great buy!
ReplyDeleteGreat to have you be a part of Seasonal Sundays.

I could open a shop with Susie with all of the seashells my family has collected over the years! Your table is so nice--I'm a beachy dish fan--see my tables if you don't know how true that is :) Happy Earth Day! Linda

ReplyDeleteOh I AM longing for a day at the beach! Pretty with all the shells on your table. I love to "repurpose" anything around the house for tablescapes.
ReplyDeleteI really like a fun beach themed table and yours is fabulous! Those dishes were a bargain and all the shells and other touches are perfect! Great job! Hugs, Linda
ReplyDeleteWow! I want to go to that Goodwill store! What great finds, and you've put them all together beautifully. How clever of you to use that shower curtain for a table covering. I love Susie's shells for sale sign. laurie
ReplyDeleteBeautiful table! It has me longing for the beach. What great finds! You put everything together so beautifully.
ReplyDeleteWow, Aledia! You are the bargain hunter/finder extraordinaire!!!!!!! I'm really impressed with the price of the cool dishes and the big bag of shells! Since there are no oceans or seas in the Midwest, I'm left to either buying shells or collecting them when I visit the coasts. I alwyas make friends and family bring some back for me if they travel there, too. I have a good-sized collection now, but there's always room for more! For $3, though, you totally scored!!!!! And they're not those teensy weensy shells, either! Never, ever would have know the table topper was a shower curtain! How clever! The stemware looks great with everything, and the flatware was an A-1 choice! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI just love your blog! I ooh and aah over every element, and then you say what you spent, and I am blown away. You are a really good shopper! I love this beach themed table! The dishes are so pretty, and the colors are great! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteSince buying a place at the beach, I find myself drawn to all things nautical and your tablescape is wonderful. I cannot believe the bargains that you found. Love the shower curtain idea - I have used sheets in my blog, when I could not find the color tablecloth I wanted. Great job!!
