**Plum Perfect Booth**

Well I had made mention some time ago that I was going to open up a Plum Perfect Booth at a local flea market. Wow- it has kept me soooo busy! but I am enjoying it soooo much.

I have a few pictures of some of the displays I have / had. I want to put down some carpeting in the booth  and it does not yet have the "look" I am going for but it is working for now and I have done very well with my sales so I'm Plum Perfectly Pleased! ;)

This is the cutest little herb tea set!! It is currently in my booth and there are 2 available!

Some country decor

This little chest was in very rough shape and I brought it home and gave it a good painting and wa-lah! It is currently in my booth.

Another cute little chest/stand that needed some help as well. This one has already sold!

I just LOVE this shabby little piture!! She did not look like this before but with a little love she turned out rather nicely.
She is currently in the booth!

Thanks for stopping by and I will be adding more booth pictures as we progresss along.

~Thinking Spring~

Spring!! I am soooo ready for Spring!! Although we havn't had a very hard winter here in Arkansas I am so ready for the warm weather, the smell of fresh cut grass, flowers blooming and birds singing. With that in mind I put together a tablescape to bring some Spring into the home.

I put this together while my mom was here visiting and the dishes belong to her (she picked them up at the local Goodwill for $4.00!) I do not know who they are by but they certainly are lovely and did the trick to bring in some Spring!

I am linking with Susan at BNOTP, please visit her here for more great decorating ideas!!

This green and white dish in the center also belongs to my mom, we had a fight over who was getting this one lol.....not really but I really LOVE it. It was purchased at the local flea market for $3.00!!
The salt & pepper shakers are mine and were purchased at Goodwill in Tn for $1.50.

Napkins and Napkin Rings are both Flea Market finds for a total of $5.00

I just LOVE this teapot!! I found it at a Vendors Mall in Tn and paid $6.00 for it.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy your day and have a "Spring" in your step!!

~Pink Valentine Tree~

I have a 4ft prelit pink Christmas tree that I used this year for my valentines tree. It matched "plum perfectly" in the dinning room with the valentines theme.

It was decorated with red glittered keys, cupcakes, candy, beads, feathers, ribbon, dragonflys and hearts. Most of the items were from Walmarts after Christmas sale in the ornament section.

Snow Ice Cream!

Well, I have to admit that tonight is the first time I have ever had snow cream!! and I have been missing out. I must say it is DELICIOUS!!! Here is the recipe that I used and if you have a different one feel free to pass it along!

1 Gallon of fresh snow
1 Tablespoon of vanilla
2 Cups of milk
1 Cup of sugar

Lil prince loved it as well and we all went back for seconds!

...Pink & Chocolate Polka Dot.... Valentines Tablescape!

I LOVE Valentines Day! Typically valentines is red and white which I love BUT- this year I wanted something a little different. When I came across these dishes I knew they were the "different" that I was looking for. Chocolate brown and pink polka dots, what could be better? I snatched them up and little by little started finding other items to fill in the tablescape. I am tickled pink (hehehe) with how it turned out!
I am linking with Suasan at "Between Naps On The Porch"
Please visit her to see many more great ideas!

I started the table setting with using a vintage bed sheet for my tablecloth! I just LOVE vintage linens.
White round placemats are from the dollar tree.
Cordial colored chargers came from a flea market booth and they were $1 each!
Paper napkins are Martha Stewart and were on sale for $2.00 ( last year)
Plates, Bowls and Cups all came from the Dollar General Store and they were about $12.00 for the set.
Flatware was purchased at Dollar Tree. (they have white stars on them which I covered with glittered heart stickers)

I found the little mail boxes at Target in the $1 section.
Place cards are Martha Stewart.
Heart shaped coasters are Martha Stewart.

These little petifore shaped candles are just darling AND they are chocolate scented! I know right?

This fondue set was a STEAL last summer at a local yard sale. It was brand new in the box, from Avon and for only $1.00 I snatched it right up!

Ah! Another one!! lol..... this one was sitting on the shelf at Savers for $4.00 and just screamed at me when I walked by....HEY! I'm pink and chocolate brown and you NEED me for your tablescape. I politely responded "I already have a fondue set" to which I heard once again.....I know, but I match PERFECTLY and you NEED me! So, without further hesitation and to keep from causing a scene into my cart it went!

The small box of hearts are from Walmarts after Christmas clearance sale for .25 each and they are soaps! I thought they would make great favors!
Thanks for stopping by and Have a great night!

Game Day!

I have to say I did not grocery shop for specific game day food so I just put together a quick and easy lunch from items already in the pantry. Turned out to be delicious! I received a tablecloth (Thanks Mom!) with a football field on it and had it put back especially for today. Everything was very simple, quick, informal and just right!

Menu:
         Lil Smokies in BBQ Sauce
         Ham or Turkey Sandwiches
         Baby Carrots / Ranch
         Chicken Nuggets (for small prince)
         Dill Pickles
         Homemade Dip
         Nacho Chips

I hope you enjoyed your day and have a great week everyone!
