~*Happy Easter*~ From our Table to Yours!

~HAPPY EASTER~
From our table to yours!
I have missed visiting all my blog friends and I hope you all are doing fabulous and having a wonderful year. I'm so very ready for Spring....it's been cold and rainy here.
I've missed being able to Blog on a weekly basis but I just stay so busy with the store and only having Internet access through my phone at this time (at the store) doesn't help.

The store is doing great and I'm having so much fun with it! We are set up for credit card payments and can also receive payments online as well. We are on Facebook too so stop by for a visit and say hello, here is our FB Link A Hen and 2 Chicks

We enjoyed a very simple setting at my parents house for our Easter lunch.

These beautiful antique green dishes are for sale in the store!!

A lovely Goodwill find!

We enjoyed Ham, Sweet Potatoes, Corn Pudding, Bacon wrapped Asparagus, Dinner Rolls, Deviled Eggs and we finished it up with some Pistachio Dessert!

Mr. Rabbit here is thinking about munching on some greens.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I pray you all have a wonderful and blessed week!

Sango---Green & Black Tablescape

A very simple glass candlelight centerpiece is all that's needed for this evening dinner tablescape.
To tie in the color of the green on the plates I added some long beaded stems and shaped them around the glass.

I just love my beautiful stemware that I received as a Hostess Gift from Princess House years ago. I hosted a party for a friend and was able to get the stemware for FREE. (Tip) Having a home show/party is a great way to get some of your favorite items for little to no cost.

The beautiful Sango plates with the ever so lovely Lily pattern was a terrific Goodwill find.
All they had were the plates and saucers BUT they were .50 each!!
~~LOVE~~
I also like the square shape of the plates with the rounded edges.
Sometimes it's nice to have something different from the everyday circle plate shape.

These gorgeous black wavy square plates were FREE!!
I got them from a lady on Freecycle.
For those of you that have never heard of Freecycle it is a yahoo group that allows people to post items that they want to give away for FREE only. It started out being a way for people to pass along good usable items to keep them going to the landfill.
I have seen all sorts of things listed on there, and of course I give away items as well to return the favor.
And, it's all FREE!

The circle plate that I am using as a charger was a Flea Market find and they were on a clearance table  for .60 each.
They worked out perfectly for this setting.

My tablecloth is nothing more than a $5.00 sheer curtain from the Family Dollar Store.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope your day is Plum Perfect!!

Thrifty Fiesta Finds and More

About a month or so ago while visiting with my parents we stopped in at the local Thrift store and I found some FABULOUS deals!

This is a set of 6 ceramic napkin rings that I bought for .90!

I just loved these beautiful silver roses, once again .90!

Are you ready????
These are Fiesta napkin rings that I picked up for $1.91!!!
(insert squeals and a happy dance)

And yet another set of Fiesta napkin rings also priced at $1.91.

(insert angels singing) lol....

Wait for it........

A THIRD set of Fiesta napkin rings for $1.91
(insert Hallelujah  Chorus)

I could NOT believe what I was seeing, I may as well have stolen them from the store
I mean.....WOW, the timing on this shopping trip was most definitely Plum Perfect!

We also made a stop at the local Goodwill and I found these napkins.
The floral ones were .49 each and the others were only .29 each.

A pretty squared toile  table topper for .99

Another squared table topper for .99

And lastly do you remember my Rhapsody in Blue Tablescape?
I bought the set of dishes for $10 at the same Goodwill, well on this shopping day I found
smaller saucers that matched my set! YAY!!

They were .50 each!
This was most certainly my best thrift shopping day ever!
When I got home and looked up the Fiesta napkin rings on Replacements.com
I found out that they were $9.99 and $11.99 each!
These are the only Fiesta pieces that I own and I just LOVE them and can't wait to use them.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a very blessed day!
