I have had these yellow plates by Better Homes & Gardens for a few years now.
They were $1.00 each at the Goodwill.

My flatware was also purchased at Goodwill and they were .25 each. I was able to purchase a service for 4 and 2 large serving pieces.

My clear cake plate was a yard sale find for .25!!
The glass tea light holder is from the Dollar Tree.
The little Debbie Mumm Teapot was $2.00 at a Church Rummage Sale
and it came new in the box.

My napkin rings were also purchased at Goodwill.
I believe that they were $2.00 for the set of 4.

I just loved this beautiful crocheted rose doily, also from the Goodwill for $2.00.

The newest addition to my dish obsession  collection is this set of four Debbie Mumm  plates.
I found these at a newly discovered consignment shop and they were
$8.00 for the set of four.
I love the bold colors and the different design that each plate has.

Happy Fathers Day Tablescape

Nothing too Fancy

Nothing to Feminine

Just a little something

Simple

and Sweet

To say: Happy Fathers Day!!

and Have A Great Week!!

All the items (with the exception of the car cards) on this weeks tablescape have been seen before so I won't bore you with all the details. The car cards I found last week at the local Peddlers Mall and they were $1.00 each! They are very vintage looking and I loved them as soon as they were spotted, I knew they would be perfect for a Fathers Day Tablescape.

I'm very blessed to have not just one but three good Christian men in my life: My Father, Mr. Darling Dear and My Father in Law. I thank the Lord for all three of these men who have had a part in making me the woman that I am today.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend with the Fathers that are in your life.

Turquoise Breeze

~Turquoise Breeze Tablescape~

Everyday Flatware from Walmart, Silky Napkins were a gift from my Mom

Napkin Rings were a Goodwill purchase. I paid .99 for them and by looking at the store sticker they are definitely a older K-mart item originally $3.99

My sweet Bird Bowl was another Thrift Store find in Jacksonville, Ar and it was only $4.00.
It is by: Creative Co-Op

The lovely fruit was purchased at a Peddlers Mall in Morehead, Ky and was $3.99. I have had them for about a year now.

My tea light lamp was another Goodwill purchase and it was $2.99. I  have had this little beauty for several years now.

Tablecloth is a full size flat sheet!

This beautiful set of dishes that included Plates, Saucers and Teacups were purchased at a Flea Market in Flemingsburg, Ky and you will never believe the price that I paid for these..... $4.00 for the whole set!!! They were on a clearance table in a back room and as soon as I spotted them they were mine! The bottom of the plates say....Colonial Taylor Smith & Taylor Platinum Blue.

The plates with the floral design were purchased at Goodwill for .50 each and they are metal!
They are originally from Target, I love how well they match with the other dishes
.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a very blessed week!

Coffee or Tea? Tablescape

This setting all started with the toile table topper. I found this beautiful fabric at a yard sale still wrapped around the bolt, there was no price on it so when I asked the lady how much she wanted for it she said $2.00, and I said SOLD!!

I pulled out my creamy lace napkins and decided I wanted to use the pretty little gold teapot napkin rings and incorporate my gold flatware and chargers to add some richness.

These pretty little pastry candles were purchased at the Dollar Tree.

I absolutely LOVE these pretty tea sets that I found at the Goodwill. Here at our local Goodwill store any kitchen item that is not marked with a price tag is .50----yep! you know where I am going with that statement, these beauties were not marked so I got them all for $4.00!!! I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't just dreaming!

My beautiful tea sets!

Thank You so much for stopping by, I will be joining the following blog parties this week. Please stop by and pay these ladies a visit and check out their lovely blogs!

Ruffles, Lace and Pink OH MY!!

We have a new member in our family and her name is Miss Elina Rose and she is absolutely Plum Perfect!
She was born on May 4th (which just happens to be Papaw's Birthday!) I was so blessed to be able to fly to Texas for the birth of my precious niece.

My "lil" brother and his wife at the hospital after being checked in on baby day.

Small Prince holding Elina Rose, he was so excited to get to hold her. He tells me all the time that he misses her. They live in Texas and we don't have the opportunity to see them very often....

Isn't she just darling?

Love her smile in this picture.

She is so pretty and precious....we love having a sweet little pink bundle in our family now. Small Prince was the only grandchild  on our side of the family until Miss Elina Rose came. He was telling the stewardess on the plane while we were flying out for her birth that he was going to Texas for Uncle Lances baby girl to be born and that quote--- " I think I'm going to be just a little bit jealous" lol.... everyone had a good laugh with that one. He loves her a lot though. Children certainly are a blessing from the Lord....

Psalm 127:3

Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
