Christmas Eve Dinner Tablescape

Oh my! I am so far behind with my blog, everything has just been so busy! Mom & Dad have been here a couple weeks now and then on Friday night my brother and his wife came in from Texas, we enjoyed a breakfast for our Christmas Eve Dinner and since the dinning table was set for Christmas dinner we had our meal at the bar. Everything was great but  the one thing missing was my baby sister who was not able to be with us for Christmas this year.  :( I am linking with Marty at A Stroll Thru Life for Tabletop Tuesday and you can visit her here http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/2010/12/45th-table-top-tuesday-anything-goes.html

Tablecloth is from K-mart about 5 yrs ago

The napkin rings are from Savers and there were 8 for $5.99

Decorative picks came from Hobby Lobby. I just bent them and placed them in gold candlesticks.

The shimmery green material came from a lawn sale.

I alternated the pink & green napkins and both were purchased at GW

Our menu was Biscuits, Eggs, Gravy and Sausage with Milk & Juice.
We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed good conversation.

My Chistmas Dinner Tablescape

*SIGH* is everyone else as busy as I am? Baking, Cooking, Wrapping Presents, Cleaning, Hiring a plumber because the laundry room washer overflowed and at the same time somehow backed up into the kitchen sink, Oh, well- that last one was probably just me lol... what a day! Oh! and while all this has been going on ~Plum Perfect~ has been setting up shop BUT- that is another post so you'll just have to wait! :)

Today I bring you my Christmas Dinner Tablescape which we will be sitting down to enjoy on Saturday at 1pm. I am linking with Susan at BNOTP for Tablescape Thursday. Please visit her here http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com  for many beautiful tablescapes!

These beautiful Christmas Dishes were given to me by my husbands grandmother and I have enjoyed using them every year.

Sparkled gift boxes have been placed in the bowls for some added fun. They are from Hobby Lobby.

We have 2 types of place card holders but they are both from
 Pier 1.

This little dessert dish was purchased at Goodwill for $1.50 and the 2 serving knives came from a lawn sale for .50

The cutting board and knife came from a Thrift Store and was $3.00

The centerpiece was put together by my wonderful mom with items that I already had.

This little dish was full of candy however someone (ahem... darling dear) has been swiping them on their way past it every day.    :)

The beautiful stemware that was a weekend treasure that I paid about .60 each for!!!

A thrift store find that was only $1.99. I just LOVE her!

Thank You for stopping by and have a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

The Christmas Breakfast Bar Tablescape

Hello friends! I hope today finds everyone well and ready for Christmas. Today I have a Christmas Breakfast Bar to share with you. I had so much fun putting this together. I am linking with Marty at  A Stroll Through Life for Table Top Tuesday, please visit her here. http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/2010/12/43rd-table-top-tuesday.html
and Susan at BNOTP for Tablescape Thursday, please visit her here. http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Although this was set for breakfast you will see that there is a candy theme to the setting.

Felt Christmas Bulbs and Trees from the Dollar Tree are used as placemats.

I just LOVE these little egg holders! They came from the GW and were $2.00 for a set of six!

The stemmed snowmen glasses were a gift from my parents and I just love them!!

This set of green glass dishes were from a lawn sale and I paid $5.00 for a service for 4.

Mini stockings from the Dollar Tree work perfect to hold the flatware.

The centerpiece is a sweet little gingerbread house that I found at the Salvation Army for 2.00

This is a little gingerbread man ceramic basket that my mom made.

The teapot is from Savers a local thrift store, and it was $1.99

Thank You for stopping by! I hope you have a blessed week! Don't forget to go visit Marty and Susan for some more beautiful table tops!
