Thrifty Fiesta Finds and More

About a month or so ago while visiting with my parents we stopped in at the local Thrift store and I found some FABULOUS deals!

This is a set of 6 ceramic napkin rings that I bought for .90!

I just loved these beautiful silver roses, once again .90!

Are you ready????
These are Fiesta napkin rings that I picked up for $1.91!!!
(insert squeals and a happy dance)

And yet another set of Fiesta napkin rings also priced at $1.91.

(insert angels singing) lol....

Wait for it........

A THIRD set of Fiesta napkin rings for $1.91
(insert Hallelujah  Chorus)

I could NOT believe what I was seeing, I may as well have stolen them from the store
I mean.....WOW, the timing on this shopping trip was most definitely Plum Perfect!

We also made a stop at the local Goodwill and I found these napkins.
The floral ones were .49 each and the others were only .29 each.

A pretty squared toile  table topper for .99

Another squared table topper for .99

And lastly do you remember my Rhapsody in Blue Tablescape?
I bought the set of dishes for $10 at the same Goodwill, well on this shopping day I found
smaller saucers that matched my set! YAY!!

They were .50 each!
This was most certainly my best thrift shopping day ever!
When I got home and looked up the Fiesta napkin rings on Replacements.com
I found out that they were $9.99 and $11.99 each!
These are the only Fiesta pieces that I own and I just LOVE them and can't wait to use them.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a very blessed day!

Blue Willow Breakfast at Moms

I'm in TN!! I came to help my Mom out after she had been in the hospital and a few days after being here I ended up having to rush my Dad to the ER at midnight.

It has been very busy and very stressful around here but they both are feeling better and I'm just so glad that I'm able to help them when they need it.

SO! with everyone on the mend I decided it was time for a tablescape.
I pulled out the Blue Willow from the china cabinet and set to work.

We enjoyed biscuits, gravy, sausage, scrambled eggs and melon.
It was DE-LICIOUS!!

These glass dessert cups are a fabulous Goodwill find that my brother purchased for  Mom.
Hi Lance!! :)
They are a set of 10 and he got them for $1 each!!

I love this vintage gingham apron that we found at the Flea Market for .50

We inverted a Dollar Tree dish to add some height under the Teapot.

The pretty butter dish is a Goodwill purchase and I believe it was $3.00
It is originally from Cracker Barrell.

We put a cream shower curtain down and overlaid it with a piece of beautiful toile fabric.

This set of butter knives was a gift to my Mom from her sister.

Dreaming of Spring Tablescape

It is a very dreary day here in East Louisville...the sun is nowhere to be seen and it's a bit on the chilly side. I think we are supposed to be getting some rain as well. However, there is definitely some sunshine and warmth in my dining room!

I pulled out a tablecloth that I purchased at Goodwill for $2.00 and decided to build a tablescape around it. I just loved the tablecloth as soon as I spotted it, so bright and cheery with it's bold floral print and fun stripes. I've had it for awhile now but this will be her first debut.

I had everything I needed for the setting except the flowers so, after a quick trip to Walmart and about 20 minutes of my time later the table was set.

Yellow Plates are Better Homes & Garden $1 ea at Goodwill
