A Tennessee Thanksgiving

Well, it certainly has been very busy this last week. Lots of baking, cooking and decorating going on around here. We enjoyed our dinner on Saturday with ten of our family members and I want to share with you our Thanksgiving Dinner Table Setting! Everyone was so hungry that I had no time to get pictures of the food lol..... but our menu consisted of:
                                                                                         Turkey
                                                                                         Ham
                                                                                         Baked Beans
                                                                                         Corn Pudding
                                                                                         Carrots
                                                                                         Corn Bread Salad
                                                                                         Mashed Potatoes
                                                                                         Sweet Potatoes
                                                                                         Dinner Rolls
                                                                                         Pickled Beets
                                                                                         Cranberry Stuffing
Now that is just the main menu! Our Dessert Bar consisted of:
                                                                                         Cherry Pie
                                                                                         Oatmeal Cake
                                                                                         Blackberry Jam Cake
                                                                                         Carrot Cake
                                                                                         Pumpkin Pie
                                                                                         Pumpkin Torte
                                                                                         Peanut Butter Pie
                                                                                         Transparent Pie
Oh, we were all in misery for the next 24 hours lol.....everything was so good!

You will notice that on the dinner plates there is a large cup, well we filled them with individual carrot cakes. They fit just perfectly and looked so nice.
Our turkey tealight/place card holders have made their grand appearance! We placed leaves in them and just wrote everyones name on the leaf with a sharpie.
Thank you for stopping by and have a Wonderful Thanksgiving Day with your Friends and Loves Ones!

  4. Wow! What a menu!!! Everyone is probably still in a sugar coma with all those wonderful desserts!!! I have to ask though: What exactly is cornbread salad? I have never heard of that.
