I wanted a wintery scene so I started with a beautiful silver tea set that my husband already had before we were married, it was given to him by his mother. I placed the teapot on top of a silver spool that once held coax-cable. I liked the look of the set without shinning it all up so I just left it as is.
I added a green garland wreath with a wintery white sparkly swag (that my mom put together, thanks mom!) I added some snow to some clear glass votive cups and placed a battery operated candle inside.
Everything is setting on a burlap runner. I like how the earthy tones mix so well with the silver and white. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful and safe weekend.

Very pretty table and mirror. Love the details on both. Your vignette is lovely but then I'm a fan of metals and greenery :)

ReplyDeleteLove the thrift find, and the old coffeepot. I love tarnished silver and can never decide if I want to leave somehting tarnished or see how shiny, beautiful I can coax it into becoming. CJ
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. I love the use of the silver on top of the greens. Beautiful. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, marty
