Due to having the flu all week I didn't have anything prepared for Beverly's Pink Saturday Party over at How Sweet The Sound. So, I quickly snapped a few photo's this evening of a corner in my dining room and decided that it will just have to do.
I just ADORE this sweet little lamp that I picked up at a Flea Market in Branson . It was only $4.00 due to the fact that it did not have a shade. Well, to me that was an easy fix! |

Another great Goodwill find, I can never have enough doilies. |
Thank You for stopping by and hopefully next week I will be a little more prepared.
Enjoy your weekend!

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear you had the flu. I have been sick twice this winter and it was nasty. Seems strange that I got the sickest in our mildest winter. Anyways ~ hope you are feeling better and on the mend.
ReplyDeleteLove that Goodwill doily!!! I've never found them at GW. I get most of mine at flea markets, but that is a sweet find. I so agree with you ~ you can never have enough doilies.

Hi, love what you did for the shade! It's so cute. So nice to have mom's help I too can never pass up doilies at thrift stores. You can use them for so many things. Think of the wonderful hands that made them.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jann
Wow, for not having anything ready you sure had a great Pink Post! I love the shoes on the lamp and the shade you made really sets them off and are perfect. I love the picture of your little prince - what a handsome guy!
ReplyDeleteLots of very pretty pinkness here! That lamp is just too adorable! I am so glad you found her and dressed her up! I hope you are having a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteSorry you have been feeling ill....I hope you feel better soon! How sweet is that table with the painted roses, and like you I love doilies. Hard to find them in colors anymore. I keep saying I will crochet one someday, but well that will have to go on my bucket list after all the other projects I want to do. I'm sure you know how that is. *smile*
ReplyDeleteYou did a wonderful job on transforming your lamp. I've seen that fabric at Hobby Lobby and have always thought it was so pretty.
