Friendship Tea Vignette

This pretty little tea picture was a Goodwill find for $4.00!
(sorry for the glare)

This pretty young lady with her basket of flowers was a gift to me from my
 sweet sister in law.
Thank You Crystal!! She looks "Plum Perfect" with my tea setting today!

This tea pot is from the Goodwill and was $4.75.
My favorite part about this find is that she sings! Yes, I have found a musical teapot!!
(I should have taken pictures of the bottom of her to show you)

This embroidered tea towel is one of my favorites.
It is a Thrift Store find that was only $1.49!

My Mothers church hosted a Mothers Day Banquet this year and their theme was Tea!
I was so happy to be able to attend with my Mother and my Sister.
All of the ladies in attendance went home with a tea set and I came home with this pretty little tea cup and saucer.
~LOVE~

We also received the Friendship Tea along with the recipe wrapped up in these lovely cream lace sachets.

I would be delighted to have you stop by and enjoy some friendship tea with me!
I will soon be sharing some of the recipes and pages from this big ole' cookbook
in an upcoming post. You won't want to miss it!!

Thank You for stopping by, Tea is always better when shared with a friend!
(hugs)

  3. Happy Pink Saturday!

Love the title of your blog. Enjoyed reading your profile. Great post!

Precious teas items and settings. I love the friendship tea cup/bag and recipe. Reminds me of what my mom made eons ago. She used tang and that's all I could remember - now I think I'll try this recipe and see if it is what I remember her drinking. (She lost her recipe.)

    Enjoyed my visit.

  40. Hello,
I found your blog at the Thrifty Things Friday party! You have such gorgeous table settings. I had the exact same print as the pic you found at Goodwill only mine was a wallpaper border! Wish I could find it again; had to leave it behind when I moved. : (
You've inspired to take some of my teapots and cup sets and do a pretty table setting. Thanks for the inspiration and for sharing.
