I know, I know......I have been MIA for the last month, it seems that when Spring Sprung it brought alot to do inside and out. I think somedays I meet myself coming and going lol.....
I have much to blog about but for today I am sharing my 'Easter Dinner Tablescape'!
We are having friends over for dinner Sunday afternoon and I am looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the time of fellowship.
I did alot of pastel tones and added some fun little items to this tablescape, my lil prince just loves to look at everything so I wanted it to be happy and full of color!
The little spring tree is from the Dollar Tree and I added Jelly Belly's to the ends for a burst of color! |
Mr & Mrs Bunny were purchased at the Goodwill as well, and what a super buy! They were marked $4.50 each BUT they were green tagged and it just so happened that green tags were buy one get one FREE!!
These darling little egg cups I purchased at Goodwill for $2.00 but they were new in the package from Big Lots and were originally $4.00. |
I used clear stemmed glasses and just put an initial sticker on the front instead of using place setting cards! |
Ah! some more new flatware!!! (saving this story for another blog post) :) |
I found two of these great little egg trays at the flea market and they were $1.25 ea. Lil prince and I will be making colored eggs for them very soon. |
Linking to Susan at Between Naps On The Porch for Tablescape Thursday!!
Thank You for stopping by and I hope that you enjoy your Easter with family and friends and have a Plum Perfect Day!
love your table and the Easter bunnies, what a GREAT find. I also love the napkin rings, you were so lucky finding those.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear about the flatware, because that can be a very expensive purchase. By the way, that little tree with the candy eggs is a great idea......makes me want to make one for Halloween and Christmas. I guess I could make one for Cinco de Mayo and maybe place miniature pinatas...oooohhh that would be so cute.
Love your little egg holders and GW has some great stuff sometimes. Can't wait to hear the flatware story. I'm now your newest follower. Good night :)
